The three best times to program your brain and why?

Just before bed. Why? Because this is the best time of all time, especially when you’re doing learning and you’re programming yourself, it probably is the single best time because it allows your mind to process information while you’re sleeping uninterrupted.

Rapid eye movement,( REM ) and all these different things that the scientists are discovering about what happens with the brain during sleep, leads to the idea that all the different things we learn and we assimilate during the day actually start to take form while we’re sleeping.

That’s why having good sleep and healthy sleep is really important. And if you time it well and do mental entrainment and mental programming exercises right before bed, especially if it has to do with information, you really give yourself an edge.

The next one is just after waking up. Well, when you wake up, your brain waves are at an extremely low point and they’re dominated by alpha waves. Alpha wave states are very goodwave states to be in when you’re programming yourself. So, since you’re already at that low point, it makes it much easier to relax and allow yourself to start doing some programming sessions in the morning. The advantage is that your brain is not filled up with all of the gunk that comes in over the course of the day.

The third time is right after exercising. By doing it after exercising is that it’s much easier to get your body into a relax position after doing strenuous exercise. Let say after you’ve been to the gym for your work out, whether you’re doing cardio or you’re lifting weights, and then after you get out of the shower, you remember that feeling. You’re feeling really relaxed and you’re ready to just take it easy for a minute. Maybe you dip yourself into the hot tub or you kick back on the couch or you sit back at your desk.

At this point in time, because your body is starting to recuperate from those strenuous exercises, it’s an ideal time to get your body into a further relaxed state to do some programming.

What To Do Once You Get Your Hands On The Brain Entrainment CD?

To truly benefit from the Brain Entrainment CD or the OptiMINDzation CD, you must find a quiet place, free of distraction. Make sure you are comfortable, in loose clothing, sitting in a chair or lying down.

Relax. Allow yourself to empty your mind. Simply focus on the content of the CD (headphones are highly recommended as the effect is much more dynamic). It will definitely aid and allow better “absorption” for a faster mental transformation.

Breathe deeply, evenly and close your eyes. If time permits, allocate 60 minutes for this exercise. Otherwise, take 20 minutes.

Creative Visualization

Wouldn’t it be nice if you had a genie at your disposal?

This power is the creative visualization that all men and women have access to.  It will allow you to realize your deepest desires and aspirations. Basically, creative visualization harnesses the power of your inner mind by converting your abstract thoughts into concrete reality.  It is founded on the premise that whatever exists in the physical level must first take place in a higher plane, which is the mental level.

Here are some guidelines if you are seeking for a calming powerful creative visualization session.

First, seek out your comfort zone.  Whether you prefer to meditate in silence at a Church, a secluded oratory, a tranquil temple, in your disarranged cubicle or even in the comforts of your own bedroom, the most important thing you have to remember is that you have to be at ease.

Noise should be reduced at a minimum so that you can shut out from your actual environment.

Second, decide on your goal.  What is your pressing need for the moment?  If it is good health, then focus on attaining a healthy body. Imagine your medical examinations with positive outcomes and laboratory results on a normal level.  If you want abundance, imagine cash coming in your house.  Conjure images of checks in your name arriving at your mailbox.

Should you decide to heal a broken relationship, visualize yourself shaking hands with your partner.  Just create a distinct mental image of what you really want and let it stay on your mind.

Third, give positive feelings to your mental image. Be optimistic. Suffuse yourself with pure, unadulterated joy during that moment.  Feel exhilaration, excitement and peace. Strip yourself of all the negative vibrations.  Let go of heartaches and heartbreaks.

Be consistent in performing this exercise.  If possible, set aside a few minutes of your time every day, preferably upon waking up in the morning and before going to sleep at night. This will solidify your expectations and put you in the right mood as you go through the motions of your daily life.

Believe that the best will happen to you and your dreams will be realized sooner than expected.

Using Visualization to Help You Quit Smoking

Here are some quick tips for using visualization to help you quit smoking:
Visualization often begins with affirmations–positive statements you make to yourself. State your affirmations positively and as if you already have what you are affirming.If possible, state your affirmations aloud, five to ten times.

Some examples of positive affirmations include: “I enjoy breathing easily and deeply,” “I am free from any desire to smoke,” “My hands and teeth are clean and smoke free,” “I enjoy being around non-smokers,” and “I am relaxed and calm.”
Write down some goals for yourself, relating to smoking. For example, “I will quit smoking by the last day of December,” or “My body no longer desires nicotine,” or “I will take a vacation to Europe next year with the money I save by not smoking.”

To create deep visualizations that can profoundly affect you, relaxation is very important. To relax you should sit in a comfortable chair and close your eyes. Begin breathing long, deep breaths. Imagine yourself at the top of a staircase. Count down from ten to one, breathing once per number. As you count down, imagine yourself walking or even floating down the stairs. In between breaths repeat statements like “I’m getting very relaxed,” and “going deeper.”

Once you reach the count of “one, let your mind wander for a minute or two. Then begin focusing on the affirmations and goals you have created for yourself. Don’t be concerned if you don’t immediately see anything. You may only see cloudy or fleeting images. That’s okay. With practice your visualizations will become more vivid.

Focus on controlling the images, however faint they may be. If you have set a goal to quit smoking by the end of December, see yourself throwing all your cigarettes and ashtrays away on December 31. Try visualizing a package of cigarettes, then make it “explode.” Visualize your lungs as very clean and healthy. Visualize socializing with non-smokers. Visualize yourself effortlessly running a marathon. Visualize your friends and loved ones honoring you at a quit-smoking banquet. Create your visualizations from the goals and affirmations you have written down.
