A Millionaire Mindset!

Having a Millionaire Mindset!

In any point of one’s life, we dream and want to be a millionaire. Some will achieve it, yet many will never ever be. Why is it so? It’s all about having a Millionaire Mindset - having a SUCCESS and FINANCIAL BLUEPRINT.

I was at a T.Harv Eker’s 1st Milionaire Mindset Intensive bootcamp in Asia. It was phenomenal!
Here’s some points I’d like to share…

1) Your success and financial blueprint

Everyone has their own success and financial blueprint. It has been deeply ingrained in our subconscious mind and it surely determines our financial destiny. All these comes from our past programming. Things we learned in childhood and as we grew up. The 3 primary ways in which we learnt are
* Verbal Conditioning - what we heard
* Modeling - what we saw
* Specific Incidents – what we experienced

We can unlearn all these and change these settings for a new blueprint.

2) Change Your Settings

Do you know what is your financial blueprint? Are you set for success, mediocrity or failure; ease or struggle; consistent earnings or an “up and down” income? Look at your achievements (or lack of) thus far. Know that these settings can be changed. Just like the temperature in a room. If the temperature is 80 degrees Farenheit or 27 degrees Celcius, chances are the thermostat is set for the temperature. If you are not earning enough, keeping enough, or enjoying your money enough, then your blueprint is set for “not enough”. And unless you change it,  your current financial blueprint will stay with you for the rest of your life.

3) Are you attracting or repelling success ?

Be aware that the universe is dynamic. Everything is in a constant state of motion and change. At every moment, depending on how you think, speak, and act in the world, you are either attracting success or repelling it. Any exercises learnt to condition the mind will definitely benefit from a mind that has been trained through the use of a series of OptiMindzation CDs.

More learning points shall prevail… have a great week ahead!

To Your Success,
Dan

Develop A Positive Mental Attitude Thru Brain Entrainment

Did you like my last video on Optimindzation CD?
The development of a positive mental attitude can be a truly daunting task for many people, the best way to begin is with a plan. All truly great endeavors each began with a plan. If the plan is a good one to start, it can later be improved upon and made to be even better. The beginning, however, will require a good plan and a devotion to success.

Once the plan has been set into order, it is best to give it a real practical edge. How exactly will you carry out your plan each day? How will you keep an eye on your progress and give yourself a regular assessment about your attitude? Here are some tips to get you started and to make your plan for a positive attitude more successful.

Meditation: First, decide on just two or three things that you could do better to make your attitude a more positive mental attitude each day. Some people consider daily meditation to be a great way of improving their mental attitude throughout the day.  For me I listen to the OptiMindzation CD every morning to tweak my brain. It is easy to assess your progress with meditation because you simply mark it is a daily routine that you sit still for 20 or 30 minutes.

Over time, as you see the days being marked off consistently, you will also begin to see an improvement in your ability to sit still and to achieve a calmer mind. Then, after you have proven yourself to be truly dedicated to the task, you can increase the time to 30 or 40 minutes each day. This is one way to build up a more positive mental attitude in your life.

Exercise: Another tip for creating a more positive mental attitude is to practice exercising several times a week. It can be morning brisk walking, swimming, or gym workout depending on what you are comfortable with.  Exercise can improve your health and your general attitude. It can also give you more confidence and make you more attractive to other people.

This can do wonders for your self esteem and eventually lead to a better ttitude. This is also very easy to assess each day in terms of progress and practical improvements because you can set goals for yourself and mark them off on the calendar as you achieve them. Don’t set your goals too high because you may not reach them and you may get discouraged too early. Set easy goals at first and pat yourself on the back when you achieve them. Save the improvements for after you have first proven yourself to be serious about following a plan.

Improving your mental attitude is really not that hard at any given time. The hard part comes when you first begin to feel that your plan is no longer interesting and you lose your excitement for improving.

Review Your Goals Periodically. This is why it is good to increase your goal after a while and continue to mark the calendar even when you fail to live up to your goals. At least you are watching your progress and that is a lot more than you were doing before you started this new plan! Simple observation of yourself results in a positive improvement because you are applying the most powerful tool you have to your life. That’s your own mind!

Improving your mind starts with using your mind and the improvements will naturally follow from there. It just takes a little common effort and some perseverance and you will find that your attitude will change at dramatic levels once the basic foundations of the plan have been set into order.

You can also improve your attitude and eventually make yourself into a person who is full of happiness and energised throughout the day. If you believe you can do it, then it will come true!

I have been listening to the OptiMindzation CDs, it has helped me a great deal in improving my mind.  Want to share your own experience or opinion?  Let me have your comments. then Click here for a free report

Self Improvement For Success - Acceleration In Your Unconscious Mind Level

Accelerate into your unconscious level to create an energy for a more Successful Life.

It’s true that thoughts become things, thought is energy.  Your thoughts are responsible for the way you live your life. As much as they can support you in building a great business, happiness and wonderful relationships they can also sabotage and move you into frustration, unhappiness and despair. In fact 95% of people who set out to change their lives to be more successful actually give up, they procrastinate, they self-sabotage and go back exactly to where they have been always in life!

Ask yourself now “are you self-sabotaging?” or “do you really deserve success?” Most of us will say “Yes, I do deserve success”, but think about that for a moment, do you really believe it? Everyone wants success, in fact everyone deserves success but few know how to handle it. People tend to get comfortable being the person they are, they know what to expect from their behaviour and actions and are afraid of the change, the unknown. So why, is that happening?   It’s because your unconscious mind says so, the unconscious thought prompts the outcomes in your life!

Research has shown that most people are only able to keep about 10% of information, thoughts and emotions in their awareness and consciousness at one time, the other 90% is stored in the unconscious mind. It also has shown that the conscious mind is responsible for conscious thoughts and feelings in immediate life experiences and the unconscious is responsible and behind behaviour structures and belief systems. Now if your unconscious mind is responsible for your behaviour but is programmed in a different way then your conscious thinks then conflict occurs, negative outcomes are to be accepted. This is more reason to access that part of the mind and program it in such a way that you take the right steps to reach success.

Now the important part is how you bring the unconscious in alignment with the conscious in the most profound and best way. We know now that we experience the unconscious through pictures and images or metaphors.

In fact we encounter them in all aspects of life; in dreams, art, religion, science and the symbolic dramas we enact in our relationships and life pursuits. Consciously we use metaphors all the time. They shape our language as our thought, for example, we express love in terms of a journey as in “our marriage isn’t going anywhere”, or in time in terms of money as in “a waste of time”. We hear these phrases and access the emotions and images to that phrase. Thus the metaphor is not only a matter of words, but a matter of thought and energy. It communicates emotions and behavioural concepts and ideas.

Research shows that metaphor is what unlocks the potential of the human mind and assists people in the process of personal transformation, healing and growth.  Essential to the encounter with the unconscious, and the alignment of the conscious is knowing this metaphorical language. In a therapeutic context these metaphors are used as a tool for transformation facilitating new patterns of thought, feelings and behaviour.

Think about this for a moment, a good story that sticks in your mind. Unlike an affirmation, if a story “fits”, it produces immediate and long lasting change, first time around. Just look at children’s stories and their immense magic and power and the influence they can have on your children’s behaviour and emotional outcome in their life.

Experience those benefits using metaphorical stories:

  • provide a gateway between the conscious and the unconscious
  • facilitate new patterns of thoughts, behaviour and feelings
  • open up possibilities and strategies
  • carry multiple levels of information
  • stimulate lateral thinking and creativity
  • reframe or redefine a problem or situation
  • allow you to form a choice or find his own direction
  • bypass normal resistance, defences
  • allow you to process directly at an unconscious level
  • pass suggestions to the unconscious mind.

So imagine now, that you experience a metaphor story that you remember and that actually changes your own behaviour from the moment you’ve heard it for the first time.

Accessing the unconscious through visualization and specific metaphors is that amazing tool to conquer your self sabotage and overcome your fear of the unknown.

You tap into the power of the unconscious using it’s language and you change your life forever – What better place to draw energy, power from then yourself setting you free to achieve whatever you want in life!

I have learned this from Inanna Lawton, would you like to tap into the power of the unconscious and how to use these metaphor story to help change your life…

Do share your own moments thoughts on the unconscious mind… would love to hear your comments.

Success Navigation System… Seize it!

The third and final master speaker at UYMG Malaysia 2007 on mental strength is non other than Sandhan (aka Kate Johnson). Sandhan is the name given by her teacher and mentor when she was in India.

Sandhan was sharing with us an overview of her Success Navigation System and how we can use it to take success a notch higher or navigate to success from where we are. What she said struck a chord with me and I definitely know it also did with many in the audience and I hope it will too for you, the reader. She said we should have a

1) Vision
- we should see beyond reality. Have a DREAM!
- have a vision board to help guide your beliefs and let the law of universe work to your benefit,

2) Focus
- always believe in yourself.
- never listen to the “Dream Stealers” out there.
- be solution oriented and not problem oriented.

3) Sensory Acuity
- be response-able. If you don’t like the results you see or the response you get, change your approach.
- never wait until there’s a real crisis before you implement change.

4) Sense of Excellence
- never settle for anything less than you deserve.
- always look fear in the face, eye to eye and take action in spite of it.
- never let Dream Stealers take YOUR DREAM, the ultimate failure is not to try anything at all.
- no such thing as Failure… only Outcomes.

It’s very true when Sandhan said that “the road to someday leads to the town of NOWHERE…”.
As Eckart Tolle said “Realise deeply that the present moment is all we ever have”. So, we have to seize the moment, seize the day, seize every opportunity.

TAKE ACTION !

Start with simple things like

  • have the end in mind
  • build momentum and repeat it often
  • never give up… as success is just round the corner

Success is always there for everyone to seize. The question is “do you want it” ?

Carpe Diem!

Power of the Conscious Mind vs Unconscious Mind

In my earlier post, I mentioned there were 3 master speakers at UYMG Malaysia 2007, who focused on mental strength - power of the mind. The second inspirational speaker was none other than Inanna Lawton.

In Mesopotamian mythology, Inanna is the most important goddess of the Sumerian pantheon in ancient Mesopotamia. She is a goddess of love, fertility, and war. Fast forward to the 21st century, the Inanna who was presented before me could fit into the role of the godess for simple reasons. Let me elaborate…

Our MIND is indeed very powerful. But, did you know that the unconscious mind is 300 times more powerful than the conscious mind?

Inanna shared that our conscious mind is about our immediate life experience; conscious thoughts and feelings. Whereas, our unconscious mind actually holds the memory of all our experiences and is the primary motivator behind thoughts, beliefs, emotions and actions. When you are able to tap, work and train your unconscious mind, you will be able to achieve greater success in life, greater personal fulfillment and greater motivation.

Inanna’s forte is in the teaching of the use of Metaphors to unlock the potential of the human mind. Metaphors are not only a matter of words, but a matter of thought and energy. In the activity for all participants (with our eyes closed), Inanna used the following metaphors to guide us in the art of visualization:

1) Wolf - for motivation and protector

2) Eagle - for vision, clarity and focus

3) Ancient Rome - for expanding one’s personal kingdom into success and wealth

It was indeed a ‘mind-blowing’ experience for many. Some were pushed to the limit and had tears streaming down their faces. Some were in awe of the power of the activity. For me, I had the feeling of being set free! Having a strong sense of achieving success, motivated, determined and perservering with the plan of action for the success journey ahead! Wow!

So, how does Inanna fit the role of the goddess?

  • Love - The very fact that she is out there to make a difference in people’s life, is love for mankind and the powerful mind they possess.
  • Fertility - it’s about the ‘ripple effect’. When the “chains” are broken and people are able to expand their personal kingdom into success and wealth, wouldn’t it also make a difference to their circle of friends and the positive ‘ripple effect’ expands?
  • War - in order to break those “chains”, negative thoughts that prevent people from achieving success, is war of a different sort.

Ladies and Gentleman, I present Inanna! Thank you so much for allowing me to break those “chains” which was holding me down.

Do share your own moments when the “chains” are currently on you or when you were able to break free …

Intense “Mind-Blowing” Experience!

The UYMG Malaysia seminar was not just about Internet Marketing. It also included the mental and business aspects of it - The power of Visualization, connecting with the Universal Principles and what an entrepreneur should be.

There were 3 master speakers who focused on working on mental strength. One of them is Melissa Hewetson. Melissa is indeed an inspirational speaker. She shared with the audience about becoming masters of own life and about GRATITUDE.

She said the Greatest & Most Powerful Tool is The MIND.
When you have control of your mind, you can control your life and never let life control you.
Very apt in what she shared -
“Everyone of us is the sum total of his/her thoughts.
We are where we are because that is exactly where we really want to be whether we admit it or not!
You will become what you think about …”

She did an exercise with us and it’s about GRATITUDE. She walked us through with simple messages of GRATITUDE. It’s about what we should be grateful about, grateful about who we are and grateful about where we are. So intense that it can “jolt” you as well as bring a tear to your eyes.

Never ever belittle the power of the mind, thoughts and visualization.

How about sharing your experience?

Next Steps to Unlimited Power

UNLIMITED POWER  FOLLOW UP.  It has been 10 days after I attended the one-day seminar Unlimited Power by Anthony Robbins.  Well I would like to share more of his beliefs and passion.

Anthony Robbins has successfully used his skills, knowledge and personal power to obtain the success, presence, body, energy, and physique that he well-deserves. Although Anthony Robbins remains a legendary motivational speaker, he admits that his techniques are rather “damn basic” and certainly not “heavy”.

Believe In Your Mind Metaphor. The mind and the body are totally related. The first thing to do with everybody is put them in a peak state of mind. We all have states of mind where you say something; and then after you’ve said it you think, “I can’t believe I said that. That was so stupid. That was so dumb.” Then we have other times where afterwards we say, “Wow, I like it. I don’t know how I did it, but I like it.”

Well, it’s not based on ability, but it’s based on the state you’re in. The state you’re in is directly related to the way you use your physiology, your body. If you take somebody who’s depressed, and you look at their body, they always have similar physiology: Their head and shoulders are down. Their breathing is shallow. They talk slowly, they don’t punctuate their words, and their voice trails off.

If you take that same person and stand them up, put their shoulders back, and talk to them with an explosive breath, you will have them talking quicker, they will start to punctuate their words or their gestures, and you will see an instant change in their biochemistry.

It’s not just the way they feel in the moment; it’s knowing the triggers in the body that will put the person in that state. That’s why when people work out, they tend to be in a much stronger emotional state, which they will become physically as well. That’s why the two cannot be separate you can do something in a matter of seconds and change somebody in a moment.
What we can create is instantaneous. Now if you want lasting change and not just a spark, you’ve got to build that into your physiology. How fast can that be? It depends on the individual. It’s something you can build enormous momentum on in a weekend if you do it day and night.

“How long does it take to get good at something?” He always ask them, ”How long do you want it to take?”  If you do it once a month, maybe it will take you twelve months; if you do it once a week, maybe it will take you four weeks. If you do it a couple of times a day, maybe it will take you two weeks. If you do it all day long, you can do it in two or three days and anchor it in.

People discover what it is that they want, what’s stopping then, what’s preventing them, and most importantly, they discover how to turn themselves on to produce that result right away.

That’s one of the reasons why Anthony Robbins use the fire walk. To get somebody in front of a fire, and they don’t know how confident are. When they are in front of 2,000-degree fire, they get an emotional state change.

In a nutshell, the beliefs and ideas in the self-help books of Anthony Robbins can be summarized in the following outline:
1. Neural Linguistic Programming (Learn by engaging the nervous system; information without emotion is not retained.)
2. Mind Mapping
3. Creative Visualization
4. Daily Affirmations
5. Vegetarianism
6. Clear goals that are dissected into smaller milestones
7. Exercise; Move your body!
8. Budget your money
9. Work diligently
10. Read; Turn off the television

According to Anthony Robbins, if an individual wishes to see results in life, five SIMPLE changes must be made:

1. RAISE YOUR STANDARDS
For example, how many people have you stayed in a personal relationship way too long? One’s daily affirmation must be, “Every day, I demand more from myself more than any other human being in the world.”

The shoulds in one’s life ought to changed into musts. Human beings always got what they have, not earning their goals because they are SHOULD, your body is a reflection of your MUST.

2. CHANGE YOUR LIMITING BELIEFS
Create a unique identity and constantly live it. Model the best that exists. Look for something when you want. If you live with passion, then people will follow you.

The Secret is to change your BELIEF. Your Mind sees it enough more times, you can make it possible.  Close your eyes and fingers pointing, Live it by seeing it and conditioning it in your mind over and over again.

3. MODEL THE STRATEGIES THAT WORKS
Understand the power of the physiological state. Healthy physiological habits, such as exercising daily and eating vegetables, provide a strong foundation that ensures the most powerful foundation from which one can work.

A healthy body that is in its peace physiological state allows an individual more efficiently deal with work, family and academic affairs. Never forget the importance of first impressions. If a person does not like you within the first five seconds of meeting you, then s/he will wish not to do business with you.

Successful advertisers do not sell a product; they sell a state to its audience using tools such as music, food and sex. Like the successful advertiser and successful athlete (e.g. Andre Agassi), successful leaders have altered their physiological states in order to use their minds more efficiently.

Following are tips on altering one’s physiological state:
-Use more oxygen
-Move the body
-Speak louder
-Smile
-Sing

4. INCREASE YOUR EMOTIONAL INTENSITY TO A HIGHER LEVEL
Life is always lovely and happy when work, family and academic affairs peacefully fall into place. However destiny is shaped when you lose momentum. Train and build up your emotional muscle. Get into your Peak State when you think you are feeling down.

The ability to instantly change your state of mind, so that you’re absolutely certain and get yourself to take action in that moment when everything in your body is freaking out–it’s what it’s all about. It’s being in the emotional state to get yourself to step through anything you’re afraid of, and storm through it. People can use it for the rest of their lives. And they come to that end and condition their body, so they can use it at will.

5. GIVE MUCH MORE THAN YOU EXPECT TO RECEIVE
Leaders give, while followers receive. The secret to living is giving. Simple. This also happens to be the secret to genuine happiness.

Anthony Robbins was successful in motivating everyone and bringing everyone to a higher level or peak of state. I learned a lot, and I had never seen the audience so fired up…It was incredible!” Robbins’ shortest weekend seminar runs fifty hours. Yet, Robbins beautifully condensed his ultra-marathon program into three hours.

Perhaps one must be in an absolute state of hopelessness and depression to truly appreciate his motivational power. However, Anthony Robbins is one of the most underrated personalities in popular culture.

His life message is simple, yet important. He reminds us that life is a gift-not a chore. We must stop moaning about our busy and tiring lives. A strong and positive attitude is paramount for every leader. An individual’s FOCUS in life represents his reality, even if it is not reality!

Want to share your thoughts on this, feel free to give me your comments!

Improve Visualization through Body Language

Lost for the right word? Discover the secrets to successful verbal and written communication.  Today, I would like to share a thought on communication through body language. Self improve your Body Language to enhance your Visualization To Success!

Communication envy? Ever wanted to be one of those people who can ‘read a room’ and develop instant rapport with business associates, clients and even complete strangers? Conquer your fears! Confidence and success understanding body language

Although we are generally not aware of it, many of us send and receive non-verbal signals all the time. These signals may indicate what we are truly feeling. The technique of ‘reading’ people is used frequently. For example, the idea of mirroring body language to put people at ease is commonly used in interviews. It sets the person being interviewed at ease. Mirroring the body language of someone else indicates that they are understood.

Body language signals may have a goal other than communication. Both people would keep this in mind. Observers limit the weight they place on non-verbal cues. Signallers clarify their signals to indicate the biological origin of their actions.

  • One of the most basic and powerful body-language signals is when a person crosses his or her arms across the chest. This can indicate that a person is putting up an unconscious barrier between themselves and others. It can also indicate that the person’s arms are cold which would be clarified by rubbing the arms or huddling. When  the overall situation is amicable, it can mean that a person is thinking deeply about what is being discussed. But in a serious or confrontational situation, it can mean that a person is expressing opposition. This is especially so if the person is leaning away from the speaker. A harsh or blank facial expression often indicates outright hostility. Such a person is not an ally, and may be considering contentious tactics.
  • Consistent eye contact can indicate that a person is thinking positively of what the speaker is saying. Individuals with anxiety disorders are often unable to make eye contact without discomfort. It can also mean that the other person doesn’t trust the speaker enough to “take his eyes off” the speaker. Lack of eye contact can indicate negativity. Eye contact is often a secondary and misleading gesture because we are taught from an early age to make eye contact when speaking. If a person is looking at you but is making the arms-across-chest signal, the eye contact could be indicative that something is bothering the person, and that he wants to talk about it. Or if while making direct eye contact a person is fiddling with something, even while directly looking at you, it could indicate the attention is elsewhere.
  • Disbelief is often indicated by averted gaze, or by touching the ear or scratching the chin. So is eyestrain, or itchiness. When a person is not being convinced by what someone is saying, the attention invariably wanders, and the eyes will stare away for an extended period.
  • Boredom is indicated by the head tilting to one side, or by the eyes looking straight at the speaker but becoming slightly unfocused. A head tilt may also indicate a sore neck, and unfocused eyes may indicate ocular problems in the listener.

It should be noted that some people (e.g., people with certain disabilities, or those on the autistic spectrum) use and understand body language differently, or not at all.  Interpreting their gestures and facial expressions (or lack thereof) in the context of normal body language usually leads to misunderstandings and misinterpretations (especially if body language is given priority over spoken language). It should also be stated that people from different cultures can interpret body language in different ways.

Social uses
Body language is particularly important in group communications because for large groups it dominates the spoken word.

Body language is a factor in human courtship as a subconscious or subtle method of communication between potential mates.

Body language is now widely used in the field of selling, where sales personnel are trained to observe and read the body language of their potential customers. Sales personnel trained to read body language can now utilize this skill to read the subliminal cue exhibited by the customers to close a deal.

Examples of body language

In our daily lives we encounter many forms of body language gestures, these are a few examples. Although these signs are not immediate signals of a persons’ feeling or implications, the following are traditional signs for certain implications. When noticed, they should not be taken as definite indications:

  •  Stress:   shaking of legs; wetting one’s lips frequently
    • Lying:  –>  touching the face;
                    –>  putting a hand over the mouth;
                    –>  pulling at the ears;
                    –>  scratching the nose;
                    –>  casting eyes down, or looking downward to the left;
                    –>  shifting in the seat;
–>  wiping hands on trousers to get rid of sweat or fidgeting with hands.
    • Rejection:  crossed or folded arms, leaning back
    • Defiance:   frowning; hands on hips;
    • Aggression:  –>  leaning far forward or clenched fists;
                            –>  squaring of shoulders,
                            –> stiffening of posture,
                             –> tensing of muscles;
    • Anxiety:  –> Massaging temples,
–> different than normal breathing rates,
                        –>  hunched shoulders,
                        –>  nervous head movements.
  • Consider multiple related gestures, because folding arms could also mean a person is cold, rather than rejecting ideas being discussed
    • Truth: Showing open hands, palms facing up

Use appropriate Body Language in Visualization To Success

Face up to it. When you put your best foot forward, you’ll give your career the upper hand. Learn the Secrets of Body Language to give you confidence and control in any business situation from selling to negotiating. How to talk to anybody in any situation. Don’t be lost for words.
